David & Goliath

In this tutorial series we’re going to tackle sculpting a small design maquette in oil-based clay. A design maquette aims to show ourselves, a client or a panel of judges what we intend to make in a larger scale. It’s a first draft or a sketch of an idea and something we’ll use to communicate our ideas with. The theme of our sculpture will be the story of David & Goliath.
